It is SUMMER time! This is the best time to show more skin, enjoy the sun shine and emerge in outdoor activities. The weather is hot, getting self tanners, body moisturizer and sunscreen is a must. This is the time to wear less, sweat more and have fun!
However, this unfortunate for those who struggle with bacne and need to hide their breakouts. What make it worst is the hot weather tends to inordinate more sweat that will often result in acne breakout.
We talked to skin specialist Dr. Jody Levine during Eucerin’s first skin summit about a variety of topics, but the one that we’re concerned with right now is clearing up all of our skin – from our face to our backs – and she taught us how to get rid of back acne with just a few tips.
Top 5 Tips to Banish Back Acne
With bacne, the FIRST thing I focus on is the body wash you utilize in the shower. Believe it or not, your back is home to more germs than your face. Benzoyl peroxide is an active ingredient that I in fact do not suggest frequently due to the fact that I believe it’s extremely irritating as well as I do not also like it on the face, it simply dries you out, however I enjoy it for the body. For body acne, utilize a benzoyl peroxide body wash. I would certainly use a 10 percent benzoyl peroxide wash, you placed it on, leave it on for a couple mins while you clean other body parts, then you clean it off.
Second, try to eliminate dead skin because that dead skin blocks the pores, and then that, along with oil and also microorganisms, is exactly what makes it hard. So I use spray that has glycolic acid and salicylic acid ingredients, since it’s really difficult to reach your back. Do that two times a day, make use of the benzoyl peroxide, as well as antibiotic cream in addition to it. If it runs out of control, that’s when I turn to oral antibiotics if necessary, however typically the very first couple of things care for it.
Thirdly, the sun makes any spot scar, it makes pigment stay in your skin. So if you do have bacne and you’re wearing a tank top out in the sun, and you have a brown mark from a pimple, it’s going to make it stay. So you really have to wear sunblock over your back , not just for protecting yourself from the harmful rays of the sun, but also to prevent that bacne from scarring.
Keep your body and clothes clean all the time . Shower immediately after sweating or exercise. Sweat will clog your pores resulting in bacne. So make sure you hop in the shower as soon as possible after your ride and give your whole body a really thorough clean. Wash your clothes and gym clothes regularly. Also wash and change your bed sheets regularly.
Apart from taking care of the body cleanliness and external care, inner intake is as important. Zinc is a known enemy of acne . Zinc is a metal that humans need in small doses to perform essential functions. You can take zinc by applying it directly to the skin (if you buy the capsules in the chemist you can prick them with a pin and apply the solution sparingly) or you can ingest zinc tablets everyday.
Other Tips To Keep Bacne Away
1. Don’t have your backpack rub against your back or neck as that can aggravate bacne. Switch to a shoulder bag or loosen the straps so the backpack hangs looser against your back.
2. Use non comedogenic products on the back and body. Stay away from products that have dyes. Try using organic scrubs instead that help slough off dead skin that clogs pore like a peppermint walnut scrub or lavender shortbread cookie scrub.

To prevent infections and speed up the healing process you should use honey as it is a natural antibacterial. It is simple to apply as all you need to do is dip a cotton ball into honey and apply to the affected area. You should leave the honey on for about an hour then wash it off with lukewarm water. Repeating this process twice a day for a week will completely eradicate the pimples.
Cucumber is not only rich in potassium but also the vitamins A, V and E. This plant also cools and soothes the skin which helps get rid of pimples. To use cucumber you will have to cut up 2 cucumbers and soak them in water for about an hour. After the hour you can either drink the water or apply it to the affected area.
The soaking is done to move the vitamins from the plant to the water. Of course, you could apply the cucumber directly to the affected area, but it is not considered as effective. It is important that you properly cut up the cucumber otherwise the vitamins will not transfer in the hour allowed.
The fruit Papaya is full of vitamin A, offers antioxidant properties and has enzymes which help with inflammation caused by pimples. Applying this fruit to your skin will also make it smooth and soft.
To use papaya for pimples you will have to crush raw papaya and extract the juice. You will then apply the juice directly to the affected area and leave it for 15 minutes. After this amount of time you should wash the juice off and the results will soon be seen.
